Julius Sebő, inventor and producer of the original JULIUS-K9® harnesses is native hungarian (age group 1970) and studied primarily civil engineering techniques in Budapest. His technical high comprehension and passion for detail were the basis for his business formation.
His love of animals and interests in dog education caused him as an 20 year old young man to support the training team of the rottweiler club in Budapest from 1990 till 1994. For professional reasons he and his wife Anikó moved to Vienna for 12 years. He was faithful to his hobby and the training team from Budapest. He transfered to the training team of the shepherd dog club of Vienna from 1994 till 1996.
During his years of assistance in dog clubs he was asked by dog trainers for his advice in any technical questions. And so he started to produce and test first dog harnesses. There were barely one police dog obedience school in Vienna and in the immediate environment which he had not visited in order to test his products or talk to the responsibles.
His aspiration: Create the perfect dog harness for dogs and dog owners. He also wants to make his hobby to his profession.
The first dealer inquiries came from policedepartments with service dogs in 1995. High quality propagades itself.
Julius Sebő finally fulfilled his dream of business formation in 1997. Today he supplies almost every police dog obedience school in Hungary and Austria with his dog harnesses and there accessories such as leashes, collars, protective clothing, educational toys and many more. It was a question of time before the first private clients take notice of the products.
Since 2000 the hungarian company Julius-K9 Bt. supplies all over europe. The whole development, production, fabrication and logistics are processed by the family business with many employees and subcontractors in hungary. Wholesaler supplies the retail, which offers original JULIUS-K9® products for everyone and the analogue expert service.
Julius Sebő and his wife Frau Anikó Bakos have themselves a 10 year old shepherd dog named Kyra and just recently a 7 old month stray girl named Csupi. So Julius Sebő knows what he talks about and uses his own products for his dogs.
